Experience and understanding of the user requirements and business objectives are of top priority when a selection process is undertaken. Does the vendor understand what your goals are? Can they conceptualize your workflow? Has previous experience provided them the knowledge to undertake your project and provide a solution that not only meets your requirements, but exceeds them?
